Fuck that was a real chance for Stjarnan. Izzy was far too narrow for the first ball across and then not sure if the ball back deceived Boyata or he couldnāt get to it anyway but that was a genuine chance at the back post.

What was Mulgrew at there? A nothing attack from them and Mulgrew gets caught too tight and too aggressive and spun so easily.

Great pass from Armstrong. Havenāt been overly impressed with Armstrong tonight but that was a lovely ball and a clever, tidy finish from Johansen.

Brownās turn to go close. Great feet to create that chance and another great pass from Armstrong to release Izzy just before that.
Armstrong has been very good in the second half after a poor first half. Having lots of shots now but could do with a third to make it more academic for the second leg.
Stokes for Ciftci. Had a few half chances - mainly headers - but couldnāt really connect cleanly with any of them. Didnāt look out of place at all though. No immediate Pukki/BaldĆ© type concerns.
Iām offended you mentioned him in the same breath as those two. Iāve no fears of Ciftci - heās a very good player.
