3 changes along expected lines, would you say @thedancingbaby?
Bernabei for the hamstrung Taylor (2-3 week injury), Mooy for O’Riley and Jota for Forrest.
Ange spoke out strongly in the press conference yesterday against the VAR decisions that have consistently gone against Celtic since its introduction in November. I think he must have figured that saying nothing, or raising concerns privately, wasn’t having an impact so this might embarrass the cunts a bit.
Did you see Kris Boyd’s little rant in the daily ranger? “Someone is going to get killed” if Celtic don’t stop complaining about VAR. Also you’re allowed to push the ball away from your face. He’s an outstanding ballhopman in fairness.
He’s barking up the wrong tree Ange is if he thinks gollum will be embarrassed. I’d say his back is sore from getting slapped down the lodge. The ref himself was excellent in general I thought. This one was on gollum.
There’s a really stupid, anti-fact, black is white, industry around jocko football with the columnists, phone ins, programmes etc. It’s never-ending, jus plain dumb stuff when these paid goons are out pushing the Rangers message every week with incorrect interpretations, blatant lies and dumb comparisons to explain away bias & gross incompetence.
Yep, but at least the halcyon days of Hugh Dallas are gone. Beaton was excellent in the game on Sunday.
I’d say there’s a good chance Celtic will get a VAR penalty today, especially if they’re already ahead by a goal or two. I’m drawn into conspiracies now too. This will allow the usual suspects to argue that…these things even themselves out over the course of a season. Perhaps more likely is that a decision will go against Rangers soon but, again, it would be at the end of a game when they’re comfortably ahead.
VAR penalty check for Killie inside the first minute.
Not given.
Jjjjjoooottttttttaaaaaaaaaaa
Smashing pass by Bernabei to create that chance.
Jottttttaaaaaaaaa
Celtic have been absolutely horrific in the first half.
Kkkkkkyyyoooogggooooooooo
Kyyyyooooggggooooooo
A terrific, sweeping move from our own end line.
Hatate with the assist after a brutal first half by him. Also thought Bernabei, bar the defence splitting pass for the first goal, had a terrible first half.
The defender may have touched the ball last for that second goal.
2-0
Furuhashi
This is a much better performance since the break
Ive kept my counsel for a couple of weeks but it’s time Ange or Calmac had a word with Jota over his tache
Giakoumakis with a couple of great efforts, a header off the post and a long range curler off the bar.
Some dip on that effort from Giakoumakis
