Celtic vs. St. Johnstone

Bangura is doing very well. McGeouch getting bullied by Callum Davidson.

Wonderful cross field switch from Izzy to M. Wilson there.

Can’t remember Stokes touching the ball yet.

Lovely ball from Wilson to Stokes over the top on the left side but Stokes makes a bizarre pass and the move breaks down.

No tempo to this at all, 20 minutes in and no chances.

Referee is a cunt.

I’ve been very impressed with Bangura.

Alan Maybury. FOAD.

Stokes with the lead. Bangura misses the ball and it trickles through to Stokes who can’t miss.

Good spin and shot from Bangura, he’s shown some good strength tonight and has been sprightly in play.

Good play from Stokes as he nicks the ball from a St. Johnstone player and gets taken down on the edge of the area. Decent effort from the resulting free kick by Commons.

Derek Rye-oar-dan replaces Chris Millar for the Perth outfit.

Great chance for Murray Davidson there and Zaluska makes a decent stop.

Half time, poor game but Celtic are good value for their lead.

Izaguirre has been impressive and a few other players have been decent - M. Wilson, Bangura and Rogne have all done well. McGeouch has struggled badly though.

In your humble opinion will Celtic push home the advantage second half and beat the -1 and -2 handicaps?

Not if the match continues in the same vein as the first half.

:frowning:

Don’t worry Louis, I’m hoping the team will be more lively in the second half.

Nice one-two between Stokes and Ledley as Mannus blocks Ledley’s effort.

Better start from Celtic in this half.
