predictions lads?
On a side note the Celtic supporters claim that they are Irish as they were set up over 100 years ago to help the Irish in Glasgow. Well where the fuck are all the HIbs fans??? They were set up from a priest from @dodgy_keeper 's area to do the same in Edinburgh and I believe were founded before Celtic. I dont see Hibs jerseys around town.
The Wolfe Tones vs The Proclaimers
here we go
league route draw first
Celtic v Hapoel Be’er 7
Dundalk - Legia
call off the Aviva… Tallaght will be fine
Dundalk v Legia. It’d be great to see the Aviva full of Irish resident Poles instead of plastic Dundalk backers who’ve never driven past Oriel Park let alone attended a game there.
Steaua v Man City
wonderful draw protocol and pomp been observed here
Steau - Man City
Oooft Porto v AS Roma
@Bandage
am i contractually obliged to do a write up on Hapoel Be’er Sheva?
i have seem them play many times but have never been in their new stadium unfortuantly
Its going to be fucking hot down there in the Negev desert… presume KO will be 9-45pm local so that might be ok
Yes, mate. Please include a potted history of the club, whether they were involved in any notable riots etc, as well as overview of current squad and managerial team.
Seems like a good draw for Celtic without knowing anything about opposition and pending your write up. They were second lowest ranked team after Dundalk and I’d never heard of them until the other day.
Nice to have the home game first too.
beacuse i think the last time they played in Euope was 1996 maybe when Barca beat them 10-1
Im not sure if the Ligat ha’al would rank below the LOI tho so that puts the rankings in perspective, they are better than Maccabi Tel Aviv were last year and have beaten Sheriff Tirasspol and Olympiakos so they are no mugs…
If they encounter a cold, wet night in Glasgow tho with long balls they wont like it up 'em… they’re probably taking comfort tho in fact Ashdod reject Effie Ambrose is playing center half…
Celtic are held in very high regard in Israel as they are Nir Biton’s club tho so Be’er Sheva will automatically feel underdogs
It’s all very well for Manchester City to be beating also-rans like PSG but the crack former European champions from Romania will be a serious step up in class for them.
Tradition says Steaua to qualify.
Both teams have the same home kit. White shirts black shorts.
Looks like the wheels of a giant toy train passing over the heads of our draw masters there.
Who’s Mr. President in UEFA these days now that Mr. Infantino has moved on to bigger things?
I was going to say Leiga would surely bring out the Poles?
