A lot of fellas knocking Karius but he was great in the first half.
Karius got away with 1 against Roma when he let a Kolarov shot straight at him go through and was just lucky it hit the bar. Could have changed that tie. Everyone knew he was a weak link but possibly didnât expect it to be that bad. Tough to watch as itâs hard for anyone to take that kinda blame but itâs not that surprising.
Real werenât great. Varane and Ramos made some good interventions. Isco, Benzema and Marcelo were their best players going forward. Ronaldo very poor, Modric blow his usual standards, Kroos quiet again⌠Obviously Bale produced a momentum of sheer class and did look dangerous. But they get results. Impressive.
