I know Lennon rested several players, but he had some quotes about the goalkeepers and seemed to be implying that Gordon had a chance of reclaiming his place on a permanent basis.
He was ok. Not much to do. But his side of the defence was more stable than Simunovic and Ralston who were a bit sloppy. Couple of headers that weren’t brilliant defensively but he looked fine. And got on the end of a couple of corners in their box.
Ralston looked a class below everyone else. Morgan was pretty poor but had a good last 10 minutes, I expect that was fitness more than anything. It was a fairly pedestrian match particularly after we scored. Ntcham was impressive with his work rate though.
Gordon had a few dodgy enough kick outs high to his full backs.
