Champions League 2019/20 Rounds of 70 ➡ 32

Chris Shields is some player in these European ties

@Rocko

Who is doing co comms on Celtic TV?

I think his name is Tony Connolly or something like that. He’s just a random Celtic TV or Celtic View punter type as opposed to an analyst

Seem like a bit of a simpleton. Talking about the tie not being over for the away side as Celtic get a 91st minute corner.

Dundalk were excellent there for the last while, should have got a winner really

Missed the 4th goal. Please post a clip of it @Rocko.

4-0 Christie

5-0 McGregor

He’s a shoo-in for the gig if Celtic play Anderlecht

sorry lads
cant get the kids to sleep as its so warm in the house and was OFFLINE
from what i saw of the second - that was admirable from Dundalk and akin to some of those 2016 performances
Shields was immense - those lads absolutley bottled the game tho once dundalk got about them from a position of absolute control
next week now the tie is alive - if dundalk score first its on - Qarabag get one and they win 4 or 5 nil as dundalk will need to press
admirable stuff tho when you consider Qarabag are ranked above galatasaray and inter in europe

these draws dont do much for the* coefficient cc @Rocko
you need to win - progression dosent even do it for you
so far only cork and rovers by virtue of winning games are helping the coeffcient

@Rocko
were ye docked points after Connah’s Key gap nomads whose home ground is a sports centre beat the second best team in scotland?
@Perez2017 hope that answers your question about why celtic are in at this stage

cluj Maccabi highlights
the carry on in the MTA defense there for the Romanian goal
the keeper is Giannitatis who came from Olympiacos who replaced predrag rajkovic the serb who was in goal v ireland in 2016- Rajkovic went to Reims,
Maccabi’s defense is an utter comedy still on that viewing - they’re no threat to anyone
they could win the return but wouldnt have a hope in celtic park

Ofuedo up front there for Maccabi is a right menace but he looks to have tweaked a hamstring there
Nick Blackman came on - he was with Derby for a while and was brought to Maccabi when Martin Bain was CEO and Steve Maclaren was director of football- he’s handy enough and is similar to robert earnshaw who was there in 2012/13 -

Us SPFL men will recall Blackman from his days with the Steelmen.

Ofir Davidzada there the left full would have played for HB7 when they played celtic in 2016 - he’s very good going forward but is an absolute bombscare as a defender
Shecter is up front which is depressing
The midfield is good tho - Dor Peretz is excellent and Yonathan Cohen ( as an aside my son is called Yonathan - it means gift from God in aramaic) is a very decent young player

When is the final rounds of this qualifying shite done?

End of August.
