I wonder if thatâs the type of call where they go with the linesmanâs decision because it wasnât a âclear and obvious errorâ but the linesman clearly didnât see who played the ball. He just stuck the flag up and they end up sticking with it despite the evidence to the contrary.

Our defence was fierce jittery in the last few minutes of that half. Konate nudging the ball away from Alisson gives me daymares about Steve Nicol nudging the ball away from Grobbelaar into the path of Graeme Sharp with an empty net ahead of him in the 4-4.
