He is carrying water and he doesn’t like it. MBappe arriving has pushed him back the field and he is a pure number ten really.
You’ve MBappe, Rodrygo, Modric, Vini and Bellingham that all don’t relish the defensive aspect of the game to a very high degree. Its unbalanced.

That’s the thing with them… they’re winning games where they’re being dominated… Bayern seemingly battered them tonight yet lose 2-1 at home… a very dangerous outfit!!
Very hard to process that. A very strange feeling.

He’s very good but nothing special and nowhere near Madrid’s most important. Not in the top 5.
He is best served as a box crasher getting on the end of crosses and serving as a focal point in the build up.
I haven’t seen him have a proper influence as a midfielder in any big game for Madrid or England.
