They should try and sign Bruno Fernandes in a reverse RVP
It’s an elite striker they need. They already have a similar player to Bruno in Martin Odegaard. Be interesting to see if they have the hunger to pay over the odds for Isak or if there’s a cheaper and better alternative elsewhere. Liverpool and those lunatics at Chelsea will on the market for a striker too.
Odegaard is short of it physically and has no right foot. He struggles in the transitions against the best teams I think. Fine player though.
They need a centre forward too in fairness, or a goal scoring left winger. They’re saying they getting Williams from Bilbao I think and still maybe Zubimendi for Jorgino. Partey the alleged rapist is going as well, Odegaard could possibly play a bit deeper.
Arteta builds the team around Odegaard though and he leads the press so you’re probably right.

It cost them some amount of money to get rid of a number of them as well, but at least they had the conviction to do it and cut their losses. It’s something United will have to face up to if they want to have big European nights again, though I’m not sure Sir Jim has the funds for it.
