Anyone that has voluntarily listened to George Hamilton and Ray Houghton for the evening if they had other channels showing the match available to them (including the peerless Gary Neville on Sky) has got what they deserved.
Very enjoyable game. Dortmund faded badly in the last 15 minutes and Bayern were just about the deserved victors over the 90 minutes. Shame for Dortmund, they play some great football and have been very entertaining in the competition all year.
I think the difference between Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund is that the former are playing for a paycheque, whereas the latter are playing for a people and a cause.
The Borussia Dortmund bandwagon will be the one to watch on this forum over the coming years.
You can’t say that Bayern didn’t reach great standards this year in the year when they destroyed Barcelona 7-0. That wasn’t just about a tired Barcelona etc… that was an absolute trouncing, the most extraordinary result at that level of football in a long time (that springs to mind).

Dunphy reckons Moyes won’t be afraid of that![/quote]
Exactly , they are superbly setup and physically exceptional
Giles is probably more annoying than Dunphy. Brady has been making a relatively boring point about the changes for next season and Giles comes in with the fact that Everton will have a new manager next season so football’s like that. An uninformative and uninformed drip of a man.
