I hate this ESPN BT goals show. It could be great but it’s full of crummy banter and the segues are awful. We should have live commentary of one match and then switch to one with action (rewinding a minute like they do for goals). 1 voice over guy is plenty.
Hate it is a bit strong. The banter can be annoying if its not your thing, but its a great way of following the major moments in these early rounds that can be dull as fuck for the most part.

I hate it because it’s woeful to execution of a good idea. I’ve seen it in Italy, and I can’t understand the commentary so it works a dream. The NFL equivalent is terrific. Telling us who scored before showing it is stupid as well. They’re dumbing it down too much, we can follow 7 matches without every editorial cut being explained to us. I hate it. And I hate it more now that I’ve thought about it a bit more.
