Gallas was shown up badly too.
Leeds had trouble with them before over there when they played them in the Uefa cup around 1999/2000…A liverpool fan was stabbed over there as well after they got a result against tham and I believe they caused trouble with United fans recently enough, although I don’t think they lost that match…I will actually change my initial comment

Yeah, I would have preferred a better country spread in the quarter finals as a follower of a number of European leagues and to see more unique ties. That said, the British media and RTE will be creaming themselves at the prospect of 4 English representatives but it doesn’t really do anything for me. There was absolutely nothing in the Chelsea/Juve and Arsenal/Roma ties, which is a point Pat Dolan’s making, as opposed to ignorant clowns like Dunphy, who doesn’t watch Italian football, savaging the standard nonetheless.
