Shocker from Baptista. Still in there fighting though.
they will run out of steam I think
Well, lots of them playing with injuries but all it takes is one piece of magic by Mirko or The Prince.
risse has been very solid
Is there any connection between what the RTE panel says and reality? The theme of the discussion at the moment is that Ferguson and Man Utd is fazed by Europe. The same team that won 2-0 on the night and are the reigning European champions. I didn’t see the game so what did I miss because it looks like they’re talking utter shite to me.
No - I think they actually have a point here. Ferguson does seem to treat European away matches differently. The first leg verus Inter and Barcelona last season for instance.
Perhaps. I think Giles will have to flesh out his argument beyond “I played in Europe and there was no difference” eighty years ago or whatever it was. Anyway I think Beniyez despite all his faults has showed on numerous occasions the benefits of tactical flexibility at european level.
Fooking hell. Baptista’s giving one of the worst individual performances ever. Get Menez on.
His collective performance has been fairly decent though.
Now’s not the time for pedantry.
Uva Uvam Vivendo Varia Fit.
ive never seen anyone play as bad - its like blinker at the end of his Celtic career- no confidence whatsoever
Montella coming on to take a pen after missing two absolute sitters on Saturday.
Never like the idea of sending on a player so late just to take a peno.
Roma will be disappointed not to have beaten a poor arsenal team
the miss of the season & a clear cut penalty were crucial in not winning the game in 90 mins
Arsenal didnt create much
Bandage world class players do not miss penalties like that…Vucinec is more David Connelly than Brian Laudrup…
Bang…
Cracking effort from Baptiste though.
