Strange comment. Liverpool have only faced Ajax once before - in the 2nd round of the 1966/67 European Cup. Liverpool showed a lot of fear. Ajax wrapped it up in the first leg in Amsterdam hammering Liverpool 5-1. Second leg at Anfield was a 2-2 draw.
