17 Champions League goals for Ronaldo this season. Absolutely astonishing.
He hit a fair amount of aimless balls out of play, though
I know its a professional “game” but regardless of that, Ronaldo to me sums up how rotten football is at that level with an astonishing lack of sportmanship there to engieer that spotter and the celebrations,
The prancing fairy’s selfish, narcissistic behaviour tonight compares very unfavourably to John Terry’s selfless, team-centred, all for one, one for all celebration two years ago.
Perfect for Chelsea.
As I’ve said before, he’s the natural successor to Shevchenko and Torres.
Disappointing end to a superb season. For a team that had such a consistent defence all season giving away a goal in the 93rd minute showed how fucked they were. Never had a hope after that. Atletico brought a freshness to European football this season but no doubt they’ll be out of fashion next season. We’ve recovered from the loss of Aguero and Falcao so losing Costa isnt the end of the world.
Real had the better squad. @Bisto called it right. No complaints from me unfortunately. Only slight on the night was Ronaldo robbing the limelight from Ramos. Sergio is a fucking warrior. Single handedly dragged Real through the end of the season.
Fuck it anyway!
As the Bomber will tell you drugs are rampant in Spanish sports across the board for just about everyone bar Rafael Nadal.
agreed , Costa is very overrated, he’s a white man’s Robbie Earle
@Rocko , surely Juve had a filthy cunt like Lilian Thuram in 1997?
Edgar Davids too I think.
Sergio Ramos now has a Champions League medal to add to his collection of 3 La Liga titles, 2 Copa Del Rays, 2 League Cups, 2 European Cups and one World Cup. Has anyone ever had a more impressive medal haul than that? Doubt it and he’s still only 28.

Ah there’s a few lads up around Barcelona who have a decent medal collection, too.

utter shite, a negative team which relied on aggression over skill, if they won football would have been set back 20 years
Thank God for Real Madrid
If by negative you mean positive
