Good question, 7/2ish, he could really be anything, it’s frightening, raw potential and scope, he could do a master minded on the arkle
Anyone know when the entries for the County Hurdle come out ?
i think end of week as they were out around 24th/25th last year.
Cheers FP
Feltham form took a bit of a knock today, I’ll be taking on Grand Crus, crazy price, probably with Invictus, but need to see what Giggingstown decide
Baile Anrai was keeping exhalted company before coming to grief in the reynoldstown, very well handicapped on that run, one for notebook
Good call on Invictus, i seem to remember you fancying him for todays race?
had small money on him @ 8s, i like him
We leared a lot this weekend
Long Run is as agood as ever, i was a bit scared re the amount of hard racing he had between 5-6, i think he’s good value @ 5/2, now esp if you think like i do that Kauto just wont come home.
In the RSA, Grand Crus is way under priced and you really have to wonder if SC gets 3m. I think i’ll leave Invictus until i see what Mullins is at.
IN the triumph nothing has emerged, Grumeti is possibly the best out there, but not by much, but mccains hollow tree is way over priced at 25s. Was 3l behind grumeti the last day giving 3 away, possibly held by Pearl swan but at those prices im willing to invest a little to find out
No point in taking on the fly, quevega, sizing or sprintre sacre, if you like something at long odds on the day fine, but fools paradise thinking they’ll be turned over
There are a few appearing in the world hurdle that would have me a little nervous re big bucks
The supreme is a mess, and its fingal in the neptune for me
Moscow mannon has a lovely trends profile for the bumper, thats where i’m at
starting to like rock on ruby w/o in the champion, i was very disappointed with zark, oscar wells the other i am condidering, havent touched binocular in 2 years but will have his backers
It is a first time for me, I wish everyone was going
19/1 in Powers today for Hurricane Fly / Quevega / Riverside Theatre treble.
You’ll have a nice voucher come the Ryanair
RT won’t win, that’s why you’re getting that price , ridiculous fav
Rumours now that Fingal Bay might be a doubt
What’s the story with him Dan?

Fingal Bay on the drift after injury scare
By Paul Eacott 6:22PM 23 FEB 2012
FINGAL BAY hit a high of 20 (19-1) for the Neptune Investment Management Novices’ Hurdle on Betfair on Thursday night after trainer Philip Hobbs revealed the unbeaten hurdler had met with a setback and is not certain to run at the Cheltenham Festival.
The five-time winner, who was 7-2 favourite with Coral for the March 14 race, has injured his near-hind hamstring.
Hobbs told racingpost.com: “I’m not sure at this stage if this will prevent him from running at the festival. We’ll monitor the situation and will know more next week.”
Fingal Bay has posted a string of impressive performances over hurdles with his most recent success coming in Newbury’s Grade 1 Challow Hurdle in January at odds of 1-4.
News of Fingal Bay’ssetback resulted in bookmakers having a re-jig of their betting for the Neptune.
Fingal Bay can now be backed at a high of 5-1 with Bet365, who make Boston Bob and Simonsig their 4-1 joint-favourites.
Boylesports and BetVictor have left Fingal Bay as 4-1 market leader despite the injury scare.
I meant to post this earlier, heard it around 6pm that he had met a setback and that he will not run at the festival. In other news, i wonder when the main bookies will go NRNB on all races and who will be first to do it?
The Stoke gangsters are due to do it tomorrow I believe
Where did you hear that? Who are the Stoke gangsters btw?
I read it on another forum. You know who they are
