Wind op since last summer and has had 3 decentish runs since he’s come back. I fancy him to go better on better ground and while he’d appreciate a longer trip he’s nicely weighted with a jockey who knows how to win in Cheltenham. His trainer wouldn’t train Lassie to bark but I’m willing to look beyond that.
Ya, he tips away with the odd winner on the flat but the last jumps horse he had I’d say was a horse we had with him called The Humvee back in 08/09. He (trianer or horse!) didn’t provide the greatest experience for an owner truth be told.
What ever happened that bumper horse he had that came second in Leopardstown to a good one of Welds at the end of 2010 / start of 2011? (can’t remember it’s name)
Crystal Swing, sold him for about 60k I think (maybe more) he was a decent 3rd in a bumper in England recently enough.
