I have never done a lucky 15 so how much does the bet you are doing cost?
Come on Fenners.
The €0.50 e/w lucky 15 costs 15 euro. It’s 15 bets or 30 bets with the each way. Singles, Doubles, Trebles and an Accum across all 4 selections. A bookies dream of a bet but suits me when picking big priced horses without having a large outlay.
Most of my bets tomorrow are done. Don’t think I’ll have a bet tomorrow (although I’ll probably fail on that).
From the Ante Post bets - Cinders & Ashes @ 25’s, Oscars Well @ 25’s, Swincombe Flame @ 14’s. Accum involving Scotsirish, H Fly and Quevega from tomorrow with others later in the week. Peddlers not lining up puts a dampener on things but such is the joys of Ante Post betting.
FP, have you heard something re Cue Card?
He simply doesnt have it in the book, for non stop is the most overhyped novice on the circuit, before beating Micheal Flips (a grade 3 performer at best) his only other win was a handicap hurdle off sub 135…just dont see that at all?
Coral will be offering H Fly at evens from 8.30am tomorrow
after getting 4 different texts now telling me to back henderson in the last tomorrow.
Anybody make a case for Ferdie Murphys Going Wrong?
Won a nice novice hurdle (beating Wymott) before missing a year, tough, headed going to last in latter 2 races and got up to win…trainer is an expert at getting them ready for the festival
I’ve been humming and hawing all evening, but I think I’m going to put most of my war chest to work tomorrow. I don’t know what hurricane fly has to do to get some love in the market, can’t see him beat
Had been looking at Going Wrong based on trainer and jockey booking alone. Wouldn’t put you off him but you could make a case for a few in the race.
yeah, that henderson horse will be hammered, one run…i cant havehim…and my other prospect (White Star) am being told is a rogue…
one more sleep
when did JP purchase catch me? Pertemps? Plot horse surely?
Anyone?
Just looking at the betting for the first two races tomorrow on oddschecker, the Supreme and Arkle, and the Betfred welchers haven’t gone best price or even joint best price on a single horse. Plus they don’t even temper that by having some sort of money back special on these races like most bookies. They really are far and away the worst of their kind IMHO.
havn’t had a bet yet but the ones below interest me at the moment.
Steps to Freedom
Al Ferof
Hold on Julio
Zarkandar e/w
Fortification e/w
Alasi e/w
That’ll Do e/w
Spare a thought tomorrow for the likes of Paul Maloney & Brian Hughes who’ll spend the day riding in Sedgefield.
Think The Package could be a good thing tomorrow. Pipe proved how good he is when the moneys down with the heavily backed Katchmore today at Taunton and has done similar at previous festivals. Market support during the week has been telling for The Package who runs well at the track and is on a winning mark. Quantative is good but think the weight will be too much.
Will be having a monster bet on Hurricane too tmoorrow.
Was cloudy and foggy when we arrived today, (staying 20 miles from Chelts) but cleared up magesticly into golden sunshine by around 4ish. Should be a fun week. Good luck gach duine
Best of luck Laz. The Hurricane should help pre-pay for the week.
Pricewise (Tom Segal) has gone for The Package, Alfie Sherrin, Dancing Tornado and Shop DJ in addition to his ante-post bets.
