How does it smell up dbs arse mac?
It smells of raw rubber from him paying off jockeys who flogged his horses half to death.
Holymacapony is 33s from 12s for the 3 miles race. That’s a huge drift out and fairly rare the bookies go so far out. I didn’t hear any excuses as to why he was pulled up but surely that wasn’t his true running. His form got two boasts over Christmas as well.
Maybe the bookies think he’ll be put away or something but Henry has a decent record in the three mile race. Minello Indo won it and monalee ran very well in it too.
It’s probably one of the most difficult races to work out but that’s a big price. That Donnelly horse he trashed on debut looked a bit of tool in leopardstown and is as short as 14s and 16s for ballymore.
Great to see the excitement in Ruby analysing shishkins performance.
He’s nailing his colours to the mast. Envoi Allen beats monkfish over 2 miles 5 but he thinks monkfish would beat envoi Allen over the gold trip.
That bloom horse that won in gowran missed a week just before Christmas so he was pulled. You’d hope him and asterion forlonge take on envoi Allen in punchestown in a couple of weeks. That would be interesting.
Both the nick luck podcast and the road to Cheltenham with Lydia hislop cover it. I’d say if Irish horses don’t make it over they’ll just be losers. They’ve nearly have to void the whole lot if they thought about refunding bets placed on Irish Horses.
yip antepost bets are normally or used to be---- all in run or not enter or not
I’ve it all but confirmed that Patrick is aiming to ride on the ropes in the National Hunt chase. 33s could look very big. Could easily be a 3 or 4/1 shot come the Tuesday of cheltenham.
Has very good form with monkfish and a few more in behind him that day have won since. He’s built up a nice bit of experience over chases as well.
After another look and following Fenways advice I’m looking at appreciate it And my Drogo for the Supreme. My drogo tied in with dusart and Brace mans game so it’s a strong form line in my book. The ballymore id be split between bravemansgame and gaillard du mesnil. Bob o linger maybe but I reckon Henry could leave him at home. Gaillard du mensil ties in with hollymacapony and he’d be my fancy for the Albert Bartlett at this stage.
I’m leaving the novice chases alone as I need shishkin, envoi Allen and monkfish for about 15k so I’m not going to get involved in those races at the moment.
As for the championship races they look impossible. The stayers looks a right race With 5 or y contenders and there’s qs over everything nearly in the champion hurdle and champion chase. I Didn’t like al boums run today.
What I dont like about ABP (apart from jumping) is that they more or less finished in a heap in Gold Cup. I always had monalee as a doubtful stayer and LIT is probably one too. I also would not rate santini too highly. As @Spidey stated, there is a handful of horses within a pound or two of each other. Question is whether any of last year’s novices can progress beyond this level. I think Minella Indo ran a blinder in RSA. Champ is interesting but the way he jumped in RSA is very off putting. I think he’d go close in stayers. As of now, I think Minella Indo is most likely to step forward. His Albert Bartlett run was astonishing. You just dont get horses winning races with the choke out, let alone at Festival.
Willie gave his horse a good mention too but was quick to point out it would be tough to beat the 500k purchase of Gordon’s.
Go boy non runner now
@fenwaypark any thoughts on verdana blue for the county hurdle?
Elixir Dainay is back in training and could be interesting in a handicap off 147.
Likewise I wonder will janidil revert back to hurdling now. He travelled into the Albert Bartlett lovely but didn’t get home. The coral cup would be perfect. Jp had a host of good novice hurdlers last season but doesn’t have many this season.
Ground is very important to her. Hard to look beyond what willie or gordon will run.
I’m getting very concerned here. Can’t be far from racing being pulled in the uk.
Forget about Cheltenham
It’s only thing keeping me going at this stage.
Did not look anything special fto, but that would not be unusual for a mullins horse. Looked good lto but Elliott horse did not run to expectation.
The second jumped poorly too. I like those saint of saints.
