We played twist, the album by the fat lady sings. Hadn’t seen the light of day for decades, and herself had never heard of them, but it’s a great album and was a nice trip down memory lane ahead if my pal moving home. Came across it looking for Christmas CDs cos my streamer is in getting fickshed**

Nick Kelly (the Fat Lady Sings) is the son of John Kelly, the rather austere former Fine Gael minister, Attorney General and law lecturer. Nick was originally a solicitors apprentice but it cramped his creative nature and he gave it up and went to London to form the Fat Lady Sings. He came back to Dublin and worked in advertising. He is now a filmmaker.
