Cill Chainnigh v Tiobraid Árann - 2010 All Ireland Hurling Final

Disgraceful scenes all the same in Nowlan park . Messing with the Tipp fellas head like that. Sure they won’t know which end is up by the time the match comes around. Not fair really all of kilkenny’s pals in the media going along with this charade as well.

Chatting to a mate of mine earlier who lives in Tipp (the poor cunt). He was at a practice game a while back between Tipp and Portumna. Tipp won by 3-30 to 1-18 or something like that. Fairly tame affair but Joe Canning scored 12 odd points with 8 or 9 from play and made a show of the Tipp back line. They played about 30 mins a half and the last 15 mins were a farce as there was barely a tackle put in.

Festy In The Festy made an appearance for Tipp and knocked over a few scores.

Great story

I heard that Joe also boxed the ears off Benny Dunne in said challenge match

Any wind up in the the works for pv lately?

no need, shefflin training last night has them seriously rattled…

PV is the Intermediate to AFR’s Junior A fare. You’ll still get your scores butt you’ve to work a bit harder for them.

A great thread over there where they are all giving out about Galway lodging an objection to the 21’s A/I final being on in Thurles, the cheek of them

Do you cause much controversy over there? They seem a bit traumatised, like someone raped the place in the past.

not particularly, pretty much call it as i see it over there…Would often try and soften a few of the bluffers over there…There are a few very good posters over there and even a few who would be very good at calling a game but there is a hell of a lot of bias on it all the same, there was a thread in the build up to the Waterford match where they were giving out about Davy staying in Carton house the week tipp trained there, they were all calling him a prick and what not, I replied the sign of a prick of a manager is one who tries his best to start a row with a sub coming off the field(mentioned no names) and it was deleted

In fairness Puke, the final was fixed for Thurles before the championship even began.
If galway had a problem with the venue, they should have complained before now…

Their not complaining now, just pointing out the fact that it naturally gives Tipp a serious advantage and in the interests of fairness a change of venue should be considered. Ken Hogan agree’s with them.
Thoses Mongoloids on PV seem badly rattled about it though. No surprise there I suppose.

Nowhere could be as bad as KKcats. No forum in the whole of the internet is as joyless as that misfortunate spot.

Don’t think it’s been mentioned but anyway Hogan is out with a broken finger.

Was listening to that Barry Henriques interview on OTB this evening. Came across as a bit of an ape. I’d say he’s annoyed a lot of Kilkenny people over the years. His piece at the end on “if you look at it, really deeply” was desperate. I was prepared to believe he might have some idea of what he was talking about up to that. Finishing up by saying “and their backs are awful” (re:Tipp) made him sound like a bullshit merchant of the highest degree.

He’s annoyed plenty over the years. He’s a confident guy is the Bar’
And, what he actually said was that Kilkenny’s backs are awesome, didn’t mention Tipp’s defence at all.

Barrie is an alright sort.

Insiders tell me that Eddie Brennan is in grave danger of being dropped for the final if Henry starts.

Tipp are seriously considering withdrawing from next Sunday’s game and simply conceding a walkover after reading Denis Walsh’s piece in yesterday’s Times re the savagery of last week’s Kilkenny training sessions. We are very afraid, Noel McGrath is a child for fuck sake, will somebody please think of the children.
