Poli and Montolivo now look set to be ruled out for Milan in midweek. I think we have an asbolutely fantastic chance of getting something out of this game. Milan are in poor form and are decimated by injuries.

Abate, De Sciglio, Silvestre, Bonera, Montolivo, Poli, Pazzini and El Sharaawy all look like they will be unavailable. I don’t think Milan will handle Stokes, Sammy and Commons on Wednesday.

Elsewhere I think both Manchester clubs will fail to win and will be laying both. Fancy Steaua to get something in Germany and Galatasaray not to lose against Madrid.

I will be laying:

Milan
Man Utd
Man City
Schalke
Real Madrid

Sami back to sack Old Trafford

Kaka apparently out injured as well. The game is ours for the taking.

So what team should Lennon go with in Milan? I’d pick:

Forster
Lustig Virgil Mulgrew Izaguirre
Brown Ledley
Matthews Commons Samaras
Stokes

I think Ambrose will start though. I hope we don’t see Mulgrew playing wide instead of Samaras with the Grecian playing up front and Stokes on the bench. That would annoy me greatly.

I’d like to see Ambrose in for Izzy with Mulgrew at left back. Other than that I would agree with that team.

Yeah I considered that buy I think Izzy is a more reliable and stable defender than Ambrose at the moment.

I think Ambrose has had 3 good games in a row now (Shakhter home, Dundee United and Hearts away) so I don’t really mind if he plays. Agree with the selection from midfield forward. Is Forrest available?

Leverkusen will get a result from Old Trafford. They are going well in their league and the next Liverpool manager would love nothing more than fucking these cunts over on their own patch.

Don’t think Forrest is definite one way or the other. He was ruled out of Saturday’s game a few days before it so it must be a relatively serious knock but he’s often come straight back into the side after missing a few games.

Out for a month and has told Milan that he will not accept any salery off them until he is match fit

A smashing lad. He’s not the first to do this in Serie A either, Redondo did it while at Milan as did Tommassi when at Roma.

I can’t wait for the Champions League to properly commence tomorrow night. Most of the also rans are in action tonight before the big guns such as Milan, Celtic, Dortmund, Barcelona and Arsenal take to the field on Wednesday evening. I’m absolutely pumped for the Celtic game already. My eyes are bulging. I’m drinking coffee to beat the band. And I feel like I may shit myself, ala @thedancingbaby, at any moment. @giloppy - post up the Champions League theme tune there please.

Are you planning on making the trip over for any home CL games, mate?

Bandage and I will be attending Celtic v Milan at the end of November mate. I expect we’ll secure our passage to the next round in that game.

Great stuff. I’ve yet to experience the glamour of a champions league night… Some day maybe.

We’ll take one in at Anfield next year, mate-probably be better off waiting for one of the knockout games cos we will piss through the group.

Forrest is out and Ledley is a major doubt. I’d go with Matthews on the right and Biton to make his bow if Ledley doesn’t make. I’d imagine Lennon will go with Mulgrew if midfield if that is the case.

I’d probably go for Matthews too. No way I’d go with Biton though. Lennon indicated that he was bought more with the future in mind than the present and I don’t think you can expect a youngster to make their debut in a new system and new team at that level. Mulgrew will play there if Ledley can’t, and rightly so.

Kagawa starts. :eek::clap:
