No shape. This is a fucking disaster
Looked more or less conventional while it was still 15 vs 15, with Podge coming deep out of the ff line, and Galvin dropping into midfield, Reidy sitting a bit back on the centre back. Laois had a man back leaving Dillon free most of the time.
MBB wasn’t lying, Laois looked like a team expecting or waiting on a hiding, some reckless stuff, tackling high and late and in front of the referee. The two injuries and the stupid sending off came nearly together and they were mentally gone after that. Ref could easily have another red or two issued. Not sure what else is to be gained here bar avoiding injury.
I can’t blame them, no backs, and then lost 3 before HT. I’ll pick out the lads now who will be sent off. Dwyer, Hyland and possibly Foyle out of sheer frustration. Just want it over now.
It could get a lot worse alright. Overheard the Laois physio there, Healy popped the shoulder back in the first time, it went again then when he tried to handpass. You’d feel for the likes of him, and Cheddar obviously
