Keep ye occupied.
Much as in Limerick for the last 45 years
Some fun if Limerick feck up but
Sixmilebridge best Clonlara minus Conlon and the Galvin’s by 7 points in the first round of the championship.
Tjhe bridge 7 point win over clonarA
Injured or left the country ?
Conlon damaged knee ligaments first day out against Galway. Had an injection to play in the replay and is expected to be out for another 4 or 5 weeks.
Two Galvins are on a sun holiday. A gas club
Truly gas. Conlon is some Loss the form he was in.
He came on for the last few minutes according to the oul lad. Heavily strapped and barely able to move. Daft.
Giligan 2 points
What do those results mean? Presume there’s a second chance?

O’Callaghan’s Mills v Éire Óg
Cratloe v Ballyea
#ClareSHC Round 2 (Losers Group)

Clarecastle v St Joseph’s Doora/Barefield

Crusheen edged out Clarecastle 2-14 to 1-15
Is clonlara as a club divided beyond repair?
This generation, pretty much. All self inflicted too.
What’s the reason behind it?
Managerial appointments, wrong men being put in or lads being shafted. Led to a split between players as fathers/uncles etc got the bullet. A few fallouts along with the leaders from the 2007-2009 team getting old/moving on didn’t help. Few other incidents and falls out exacerbated it too.
You will win fuck all without unity
Borderline sad. Small club produces a freakishly good set of players to all come along at the same time and yet manage to fuck it all up
Think having so many lads on a county panel under Davy doesnt help either. Lads are jaded come the end of summer and lack a bit of appetite. That I’d only exacerbated when they go back to the club and lads aren’t pulling.
Mike O’Shea of Kilkee and Clare after passing. Only four years retired from intercounty. The bed of heaven to him.
