Played With limerick in the 60s. Meant to be a fantastic hurler but a lunatic. Story goes he hit that Clare fella such a belt one day the Clare crowd rang him up that night and told donal he was dead from the belt. They kept up the act for a day or two. My godfather marked him a few times in county finals and tells me he’d still shudder when he sees him. His grand son was a limerick minor a few years back.
Donie from Cappamore?? Won a county with Killeedy in 80 or 81 I think.
Yup he done a year or two with the seniors before 73 I believe. You’d hear a few fellas say he’d have been on in 73 only for the temper.
U20 match called off. Miltown would have been fair wild.

Well that one is at least a million times better than the U-20 one during the week.
They don’t always have to make the text the same colour as the background to be fair
