Clare Gaa 🐐 Thread mark II

Five to be added, two in it

One in it :confounded:

Clare point from Tubs, two again

Result
Clare 1-14
Cavan 0-15

Division 2 is a bloodbath

That’s what @mickee321 keeps saying. Are ye safe? I think if we beat Fermanagh at home now we’ll stay up

I’d say we need something from Westmeath or Fermanagh.

Fermanagh have three left after today’s postponement. Ye have them on the last day. Kildare have two home games against Cavan and Westmeath, I thought ye would beat them today and we would have kept the head-to-head edge but could go anyway now. Best case for us is Armagh being promoted already coming to Ennis in the last round.

Listened to Syl, as good a performance as we’ve given in a few years.

He’s top class. I thought age would be catching up with him now, but he’s making up for it in experience.

its absolutly fantastic
7 weeks full on with games impossible to call
that’s some result for ye today @Raylan - you must be delighted
2 weeks of this left - it’s box office
Pairc Tailteann today was brilliant with the amount of transistor radios and knowledgable football men from each side but div1 dosent have the draw of div2 as even tho meath are steadily improving game on game the results were always inevitable - in div2 anything could happen at any stage of the game…

ill say one thing tho - the pace of the game is higher at div1 and meath are getting punished by the likes of kevin macloughlin, mick murphy and that brilliant galway FF walsh today - ud get away with giving away loose possession in div2 and you’d know the favour would be returned - not in this league im afraid - Meath should have won today - gave away an absolutly stupid goal ( same as v mayo) and kicked rash wides.
in the super 8s last year as well - meath gassed at 55 mins in all 3 games - that was due to a group of young lads and the lack of conditioing that you can only get playing div1 and having the team to build and adjust to that, now meath have come on leaps and bounds but any team from div2 just wont have the conditioning of a mayo, kerry tyrone and dublin who are different

thats why cork are bolluxed - walking pace football in div3 is no good where errors go unpunished - Tipp have been the only team to give them a bit of a rattle - cork are bolluxed because of that in the summer

The poor bastard must be colour blind.

David McInerney looks to be enjoying midfield

@Big_Dan_Campbell is colm galvin out injured?

Yes, I have the feeling that he may not feature heavily even if fit unless there is a serious attitude adjustment

That’s a pity, big loss.

:face_with_monocle:

Pat needs to sort out the Clare GAA PR Committee. Its a fucking shambles.

What committee? How many lads are you going to fit behind the printer :man_shrugging:t2:
