Clare Gaa 🐐 Thread mark II

They were already four or five up at that stage, and knew we wouldn’t try anything innovative like an attack

Those coaches should be shot :man_facepalming:

Tones win the intermediate final by a point thanks to two late frees in injury time

Loughnane seems to be in good form.

Hard not to think of Conor’s Sketches listening to him at this stage.

Shane McGrath penalty saved by Fahy which could have really opened up a gap

Halftime

Feakle 0-10
Sixmilebridge 0-6

Feakle got two late scores in the half to put a better complexion on things, the Bridge would have been delighted to go in two down when they haven’t really hurled at all. Conditions are mitigating against a free-flowing game, although Feakle are hurling better when they don’t complicate things. Shane McGrath being kept fairly quiet by Morey from play but he’s had an assist for three or four scores and nailed his frees. Corry and Kennedy at the other end look dangerous but they’re relying on carrying the ball to make chances when keeping your footing is a challenge. Slight breeze favouring Feakle this half but it’s not having a huge effect on play

McGrath gets a free and lays on another score for a bit of breathing space

Feakle’s goal woke the Bridge up, but too big a gap to close surely.
