Not really, just a natural progression. Colin Ryan opted out last year after being badly treated in 2016 and lost his appetite. The cruciate injury finished Donnellan and Bugler had regressed. Given that neither featured in the championship they reached the conclusion that their time was up.
All would be decent squad options but don’t think any are huge losses now. Talk that Dillon is taking a year out to go travelling as well and possibly Cunningham too.
