I think that’s a little unfair. Waterford had all options covered you have to draw the sweeper out too and keep varieing it. Kelly normally lands them too.
Jesus, there are some awful stupid unforced errors from both sides.
Terrible option by Gleeson to go for the score and get it there with so many other options, such as another pointless four yard stick pass or an aimless ball or the end line.
He misses a lot when it’s not his day. Did very well there though.

Shanahan did very well last year but he doesn’t have top end pace, needs better ball.
Bennett & Gleeson are both pretty quick though, but a ball straight down at them isn’t giving them much chance. A diagonal to let them use their pace is what they need.
He’s no Cian lynch.
