Classic Music from the Grunge Period

Was your cousin a dance or indie dj?

More indie but actually did a bit of dance down the road i think, might even still. Drugs had him dj’ing rather than the other way around.

These guys can’t really be labelled a grunge era band - they were around way before then. They were however from Washington and influenced a lot of bands on the Seattle music scene, who were subsequently members of the grunge movement.

Tad. Jinx. from 8 way Santa. Best album cover ever. It was a photo they found in a photo album in a second hand shop. When the chap in the photo saw the album cover he was horrified and injuncted Sub Pop,and they had to ditch the cover. Tad (Thomas ADoyle) played the City Arts Centre on City Quay at the end of 1991. Great gig. Tad was in the film Singles which is a great document of the grunge era.
