Ciaran Kilkenny plays with Castleknock. Conor McHugh is back with Na Fianna too. Paul Flynn did play with Fingallians but not anymore I think. Connollyâs prowess at hurling is overstated in my opinion. He is a decent club hurler but no more than that.
I saw him hurl way back, he stood out, but he was also physically dominant.
I seriously doubt he would have been as much of a star. Obviously team mates and profile matter as well but his real strengths that set him apart in football are not as necessary in hurling or certainly the way a man of his size and ohysicality would have been used which is likely a ball winner at h-f who chips in with 2-4 points a game. His balance and movement is ideal (if obviously developed by as well) for Gaelic Football.
Would have been an awful shame had he choosen hurling.
Itâs a 4 team group. Top 2 qualify. They have faughs and Crumlin in the group to play yet. Youâd imagine they would account for both handily enough.
