For all that lads give out about the likes of Kelly, Fitzgibbon, Noel McGrath etc floating about and not putting themselves about physically, Padraig Mahoney must be the ultimate luxury hurler out there. Barely moves, can’t win ball, doesn’t link play, never really runs at defences. Great free taker and long range shooter but does little else.
