Itā€™s a bugbear of mine when lads take issue with a referee. Horgan like everyone else on that field today will make mistakes. He is honest and consistent in his application of the rules.

We got a cracker of a game and all lads can do is crib about the ref. Analyse the game and not the referee. Slaughtneil did a lot right but not enough.

Michael Fennelly is their biggest weak link. Theyā€™d be as well off put Darren Mullen at 6 for the final.

They were actually really good today. Evan Shefflin was excellent.

After the Fennelly shot came back off the post Henry Shefflin was in Horgans ear calling for a goal that it hit the back stansion. Horgan gave Ballyhale everything after that.
