Made a complete fuck of it when he got the ball back as well.
Incredible drama at the end there.
Glen gave NTS chance after chance in added time and they couldnât come up with a point.
Glen goalie won it for them.
He was poor but striking the ball was difficult in those conditions. He tried to earn a free at the end there but the ref was wise to it.
Miracle that the Glen won that, Newtown had a few very average hurlers holding them back. Thought Coughlan, 20, 21 and 22 were very good for Newtown; Downey, Hickey and McDonnell excellent for the Glen. McDonnell MOTM.
