Kicking in low ball in those conditions is insanity. Any mullocker of a corner back will mop that up
Boden emptying the bench. If Eire Og can quieten them for 5 mins now theyâll be in a great position
Macauley
Hon Eire Og
What a contest
This is terrific.
A mile wide
Who the fuck goes for that
Thatâs a mugging off.
Eire Og no 28 let those two kicks go, shocking
Sickener but thatâs some score by Basquel
Nice payback there from macauley to Hayden who is an awful pup for mouthing in lads faces after a score
Sickening for Eire Og, but they had chances
Too much resolve and determination from the city lads. The culchies didnât want to know in the last 5 minutes.
Spared all that âCarlow risingâ guff now at least.
Sadly theyâre using the hashtag for todayâs Walsh Cup qualifier game I see. Unreal bollocks
Sorry for your loss there btw. Juice will be missed. Word.
Eire Og are rough townies. Ballyboden is out towards the Dublin mountains.
At least some of the lads in Carlow were out in 98 unlike some of their Leinster compatriots
There was a Fianna FĂĄil election convention in Carlow/Kilkenny in the 1950âs where there was an attempt at some dirty tricks which would have seen three Kilkenny candidates and none from Carlow on the ticket. The constituency back then also encompassed parts of South Laois and West Wicklow.
A Carlow delegate addressed the floor and reminded the assembled delegates that between the executed Easter 1916 leaders and the Forgotten Ten, Carlow had supplied 3 of the executed 26 - Michael OâHanrahan, Kevin Barry and Thomas Traynor - by far the greatest contribution of executed martyrs per head of population of any county in that period. The âRepublican Partyâ delegates were also asked to reflect on the extent of the ultimate sacrifice that Kilkenny, Laois and Wicklow had made during that period.
A Carlow candidate made it on to the election ticket.
