Club Championships 2021 - is fulvio a cameraman?

Few lads in red there made a solid show of themselves and seriously cuckolded into the bargain

No love lost between Aido and Ryan O Donoghue it seems

Ryan and the Mullet boys did fuck all there.

ROD is a former boxing champion. Breaffy prob should have won the title before, they are a massive team but lack a marquee forward.

Ballintubber would have a similar squad but Cillian being the obvious difference.

Cavan’s Ramor united must be one of the worst named Gaa clubs in the country …

Final 4 in Tyrone next weekend.

Trillick v Dromore
Errigal v Coalisland

Would expect a Trillick v Errigal final. The Canavans seem to be running amock. Both sides have serious scoring power in the ranks. Dromore and Coalisland capable of springing a surprise but will grind it out if they do.

Big crowds at Carrickmore v Coalisland.

Always better to play early rounds in smaller grounds.

Every club game up to county final should be played in small club grounds.

What about moderate sized club grounds?

A ground needs to have a good ‘bank’ to generate a proper atmosphere.

Fine bit of umpiring at it.

You’re gone full club hipster. Umpires can only be lads in tracksuit bottoms heading on the beer with BMI of over 32 and injured players must be stretchered off on a dressing room door.

What’s the Provincial draw this year?

Prelim
Glenties/Eunans v Slaughtneil/Lavey/Glen/Loup

QFs
Errigal/Trillick/Coalisland/Dromore v Derrygonnelly/Kinawley/Belnaleck/Enniskillen Gaels
Portglenoe/Cargin/Creggan/Aghagallon v Crossmaglen/Clann Eireann
Ramor/Gowna v Burren/Kilcoo
Scotstown/Truagh v Slaughneil/Lavey/Glen/Loup/Glenties/Eunans

My predictions

Glenties v Glen

Errigal v Derrygonnelly
Cargin v Cross
Gowna v Kilcoo
Scotstown v Glenties

Errigal v Cross
Kilcoo v Scotstown

Errigal v Kilcoo

Presume Corofin favourites for another one?

No guarantee Corofin even wins Galway. Sure they’re not even reigning county champs. Semi-finals this weekend and they have the weakest of the four sides left in them so they should make the final alright.

Any other decent sides in Galway. If Corofin are struggling this year, I’d fancy whoever comes through Ulster for an AI.

Moycullen are the champions from last year. Almost went out in the last round. Got the winning point with the last kick of the game against Tuam. They have a good smattering of Galway players. Sean and Paul Kelly, Peter Cooke, Dessie Conneely and James McLaughlin who is a huge young fella who will be on the Galway senior panel next year. Gareth Bradshaw as well. Owen Gallagher from Antrim plays with them as well. He’s settled in Galway after finishing Medicine in NUIG. They have a tough enough semi against Mountbellew-Moylough this weekend though. Who they beat in last year’s county final. Corofin should see off surprise packet, Killannin.

Dalos pod was gas this week, Ken Hogan was on with the three lads for a club round up, only problem was Ken had watched no game, “didn’t see that one Dalo, was out with the club Sunday” be fair enough only he was literally on to discuss these matches, and they were on the fucking telly. He could have recorded them and watched them Monday morning before the pod ffs, and he being paid to go and talk about them. He came good late on with a round up of Laois, Offaly and Carlow championships. He clearly hadn’t watched any of the games in them either though, bar the one he was involved in.

There was a major fear amongst the pod’s guests that Douglas’s dual players would count against them in Cork as they are going well in both, two Cadogans etc, I’d have said a fair enough point only for myboywoolie was giving out in his podcast that Douglas only have one dual player and was asking why the Cadogans aren’t lining out for the football

I’d be surprised if Kilcoo win Ulster this year, scraped through both the quarter and semi finals in Down. Plenty of talent there, and money, but not firing so far at all.

I’m almost through today’s pod and the prick hasn’t mentioned our glorious victory yet.,

Woolie or Dalo, Dalo did a bit on ye, he’d know a few of the lads from his time in the academy don’t ye know
