In Down, Kilcoo beat Burren 1-10 to 4. An awful spectacle, Liam Kerr is the best forward in the county by a distance and was sent off for 2 yellow cards for wrestling with an opponent on the ground. Danny Magill, another intercounty forward, also sent off so Burren finished with 13. Any young fella with talent has little business playing football in Down at the minute, it’s probably the same across most counties.
