Club Championships 2024

It would have been grand there tonight to have had Kevin McMenamon and Paul Flynn pitchside casually shooting the breeze with Damian about the upcoming ‘sandbox games’ in a few weeks.

With Macker just finishing off an apple and suppressing a grin as he makes his entrance to the pitchside podium.

Lolz. They’ve disgraced the name of St. Faithleach himself.

Are Boyle still in this competition this year?

Roscommon SFC semi-final: Pádraig Pearses 1-9 St. Faithleach’s 0-3

The attacking prowess of a St. Faithleach’s side that scored 3-17 in their thrilling quarter-final win over Clann na nGael was considered to be a real threat to Pádraig Pearses in advance of this afternoon’s semi-final clash at Dr. Hyde Park, but the 2021 Connacht champions completely locked them down instead as they cruised to a nine-point win.

Thank you Go Ahead and Mossy

Gaels are windy. Hard to see them last the course

Rammer did well to pull that Mun side as far as he did.

Hard to see boyle lasting the pace either when the temperatures drop in the next few weeks

Brilliant

More heartbreak for Kildavin-Clonegal (and Fitzy) in the Carlow IFC @ChairmanDan. I reckon that’s 3 final and 4 semi-final defeats since their relegation from senior in 2016. Fenagh bounce straight back up to senior.

Goals were the key for Buffers Alley as they beat Askamore in a very similar game to the 2020 quarter-final between the same outfits. Rathnure, St James and HWH Bunclody will join them in the last 4. Although that Bunclody “victory” may be subject to change as noted on here.

Shels ended Crossabeg’s double hopes in the senior with a 0-14 to 1-8 win in atrocious conditions.

Fenagh were well fancied to beat Kildavin-Clonegal. My commiserations to the Kildavin forum members.

Will you be heading along to see your beloved Palatine tomorrow @Fagan_ODowd?

I won’t.

Does young McGuckian feature for them this year?

Yes. Scored a second half point today.

His older brother got the winner.

No McFaul today.

Conleth is a lovely footballer. Light enough but hardy.

Kildavin beat them by 13 points in the group. Some turnaround by Fenagh in the meantime.

Jeez the keeper for that goal in the Leitrim final. He is a doppleganger for perrennial COTY candidate Roy Curtis.

Inagh/K are gonna let this one slip today again I fear. Some scandalous wides so far and Bridge now in the lead

@myboyblue what are the chances of some senseless acts of violence in this match?
