Club Championships 2025/26

Kieran Donaghy going in with with Salthill I’m told.

He must hate the missus

He wouldn’t be too busy with work anyway

Salthill never short of a few bob. Lots of well heeled punters in their catchment area. Will have plenty to work with there when you see their forward options. Defensively they will need some work.

St Thomas’s are surely on the decline?

Champions 18 months ago and on the back of a break, they’ll be the team to beat in Galway still.

Ballygunner lucky to be no 1 considering their pot shitting exploits over the last few years?

Naas big fallers there. No St Martins either.

I don’t think either Tipp club named will win the county

Clare is minefield to predict, especially with the news around Clonlara now

Can you justify why Ballyhale are so high? A team in transition?

Are Colin F and J Holden still playing?

Every team below them has more question marks surrounding them and may not even make it to the Provincial Series whereas Ballygunner will be there and ready.

They won’t get much credit for it, but they’ve always taken their beating on the chin and have been going about their business nice and quietly this summer.

My understanding is that most lads who’ve been away for the last couple of years (Joey Holden, Ronan Corcoran, Darren Mullen etc) are now back on board and Shefflin is to Ballyhale what Zidane was to Real Madrid.

Adrian Mullen, Eoin Cody, Richie Reid should all have a big point to prove too after the I/C season.

Its Inagh Kilnamona’s to lose.

That was a real statement win at the weekend, knocking over 0-30 at their leisure.

Corofin are relegation fodder. IK remind me of Cork, mentally weak

IKs issue has never been bating the shite out of the bottom teams, its been holding their nerve down the stretch vs the Bridge or Ballyea. A team of downhill cyclists

Whoever wins in Wexford will have tough task against the Dublin champions. I’d have ranked St Martins above an MLR team who shipped 5 goals against St Mullins last weekend. The Martin’s were probably closest to beating Na Fianna last year bar Loughrea.

Have you all provincial draws ? Or know where I’d find them.

Just Leinster up online I think. For senior, intermediate and junior.

If I was to pick a winner right now I’d go with Crokes.
