Tooreen 5 had a mighty chance for a goal about 6 or 7 minutes from the end of Normal time. Scorched through but just took an extra couple steps too far and gave the covering UD defender a chance to get a block in. A chance he shouldnât have had really.
Theyâll have some regrets as well about the goal they did get in the first half when the ref pulled it back saying he blew his whistle for the foul.

I love TG4 more than anyone and I hate to say this but its a feature now of their coverage that if a game goes to Extra Time, the post game coverage is more or less non existent and they cut it off straight away.
That game last night deserved the full speech broadcast, interviews with key protagonists on both sides and a deep dive analysis of all the games key incidents.
I dont care about Nuacht or whatever is meant to be shown afterwards.
What was after it yesterday? Usually itâs because theyâre rushing to broadcast some other minority sport the have like ladies soccer or football, horse racing or rugby, but Iâm in thorough agreement. It does a disservice to a game like yesterday which needed time to breathe afterwards.
