Club Championships 2025/26

This story kind of went under the radar a bit but is absolutely incredible really.

The Port lads walked so Dingle could run cc @myboyblue

Rory and Jack o connor to an extent this year as well

Lads just don’t get that teams filled with multiple multiple All Ireland winners who escape the bearpit of the Limerick championship are barely sober when they face off against Ballygunner who live for this competition and have done nothing of note at intercounty

How the hell was that logistically possible!

Must have cost a fortune. What does he do
in Aus?

And Walsh wouldnt bother his bollox heading back to Galway. It makes a right cunt of these cunts who transfer to Clubs in Dublin, every single last one of them.

That’s mad. I worked with a lad who went on his annual week long skiing trip to Morzine with the old school gang a day after the birth of his first born. I remember thinking it was crazy but missing the birth of your child to travel across the world for the inter-parochial knock outs is absolutely mental.

Your heart would go out to him.

Strongly doubt he was paying for it himself

Werent you the fella who said Clubs shouldnt get compensated for AFL Clubs taking their players? Now you want to stop the same player playing with his Club?

Hearts of gold them Kerry publicans. It’s what they are best known for!!

Mikey Geaney too is based in Dublin and barely trained all winter with the team.

The whole thing is just mad when you think of the hurdles they had to overcome.

There’s probably a lesson too for all clubs to keep the door open for fellas. Even if they can’t commit fully, if they can contribute any bit at all its better than nothing.

I’d say O’Cinneide has a lovely way about him when dealing with such matters. You look at lads taking cheap shots at GAA Aminstrators but behind every trophy is fine number of committeeeees and a chair ruling with an iron fist.

Exactly.

On another note, “Top of Bín Bán” is a far better song than Killeagh.

What do you make of Paul Mc’e effort? Do do do do

Rotten luck for Barry Dan. Missed out on the Kerry all Ireland and the Dingle run

Oh stop

He is a pro athlete and beat a bunch of amateurs

Its crazy he us allowed llayed hobbyists

And all the training in the World is worth fuck all if lads don’t have the talent. An untrained talented lad is better than a 3 times a weeker who doesn’t have it

The AFL must be a doddle because Brigids cleaned him under the kickout

Be great to send all these lads back to their park runs where they belong and just watch footballers again
