Some disgrace of a championship. Could they not start it a few weeks later and play knockout stages on non football weekends? Both clubs missing players due to lads training with Kerry footballers must be fuming.
They don’t protest enough. They should refuse to play without them.
Kerry have 14 football championships to play off so they need the hurling out of the way sharpish.

correct, clubs too quiet - they should down tools and say we are as entitled to having our players for the hurling championship as the football clubs/divisions are for their multiple football championships. Okay hurling is the minority code in the county but the hurling championship is keenly contested , draws decent attendances and has real parish pride

there is no non football weekends owing to the number of football championships, round robins etc

Well his uncle and cousin of the same surname will be playing
and I believe moves may be afoot that he will be playing himself now, rumours he lined out in s challenge match in hurling last weekend. if we have arrived at a stage where a lad number 35 on a kerry football panel cannot play for his club in the hurling championship, the hurling clubs are way too timid and have thrown in the towel
