Coach Klopp - dream maker

Your man gave a great post match interview. Seems a right looper, in a good way. You’d wonder how many lads never get the break because they don’t fit the model of what a footballer looks like.

It definitely held me back. If I had looked less obese in my teens I could have made it but the scouts were just too dam superficial

You’d even think that being that build would hold you back from being a pro footballer at all, no matter what division. Wonder if he played rugby as a young fella and if he was good at it.

He’s mugged you right off

I remember reading about this bloke when he was with Northampton town. Didn’t even know he was still playing.
I’m trying to remember the “stars” of the lower leagues. This bloke, that Lee Trundle fella, and Steve Bull back in his heyday.

Steve Claridge.

There’s a serious party going on in Ringsend at the moment. Car horns, fireworks and You’ll never walk alone being roared with gusto every 10 minutes. It’s like an All Ireland win.

Some men can actually keep growing in young adulthood up to around age 21 so theyd be the fellas to light the fireworks to avoid criticism
