So Southampton haven’t received a single penny of that £76m from Liverpool for VVD nor has any other club that Liverpool “bought” players from. He literally hasn’t spent a penny of the half billion pound Liverpool “spent” on players since he arrived. I’m surprised you don’t hear more complaints from the clubs Liverpool have swindled these players from actually.

The fella thinks a Sheikh handing you £100m vs having to sell £100m worth of perfectly serviceable players is the same because in both scenarios you are “gaining” an income of £100m to spend from your revenue stream.
It’s actually quite miraculous what he’s achieved when you consider clubs like the Manchesters spending 5/6 times what Liverpool have over the the last 5 years
