I don’t burn coal but I’d nearly by a pallet of it to keep the industry going.

Need men like ya

Way I look at it
My local merchant is sourcing his coal from where I buy mine,
Getting it e3 cheaper again
And making another 6/7 on top
So fuck the greedy cunt this season

The industry is near fucked south of the border due to this cheap illegal stuff coming in with no VAT or Carbon Tax being paid.

Industry is fucke by gouging
4 different suppliers in Cork I went to are greed driven
Others ( all ) are sourcing as I have done
Same place
But with much different prices
And huge price difference
Take Kelly Discoun Fuels as one example

It’s gone so dear that I for one don’t give a fig where it comes from
Can’t afford to

The stove is wood burning I wouldn’t be bothered putting coal in it the odd time I light it. I’d be cremated if I put coal in

There’s stuff for that also

You’d wreck it

No this is strictly good Ulster Protestant black stuff

I think

The 6/7 euro you’re quoting as a difference is the carbon tax and vat that a merchant has to pay the government per bag.
If the merchant you are dealing with in Cork is selling you smokey coal he is actually breaking the law.

I understand the affordability bit, I don’t blame you.
Eamo the Planet Saviour introduced a smokey coal ban last Oct with legislation that has as much teeth as a hen. No one is enforcing it. The idea again is a noble one, clean air etc but while Eamon puts good merchants and retailers out of business the Northern boys are laughing selling smokey coal into the south because it is what people want.
