Seems to be a whole glut of “wellness” ads coming up online regarding coffee and insinuating that if you enjoy a coffee you are only doing it to relieve anxiety and that coffee actually causes it. I’d only have two cups per day but is there any scientific basis for this or are they making it part of their advertising strategy because people are stupid?
A crock of shite… If someone suffers from anxiety I’m sure 5/6 coffees can exasperate it … but sleep is probably the main way it can affect people. It takes up to 12 hours for caffeine to fully leave your system …
Other than that a couple of coffees ain’t gonna do shit to the majority of people.
I do wonder tho where we’ll be at in 10 years. I constantly see u18s swamping back monster and the likes…a lot of them have 2/3 cans a day I’d regularly see them buying that shit at 6-7pm in the local shop…and if you remember the fact it takes 12 hours to leave your system…
I suppose the good news is that those 15/16 year olds will all be on the coke by 18/19 and hopefully they’ll be done with caffeine
