Fantastic rugby player, pity he could never kick off the deck consistently at all bar the odd year. Was a massive star for a spell and wouldāve been a brilliant player in France.
One of the more unfortunate what-ifs would be whether Connacht would have won the Pro12 in 2016 if Carty didnāt hurt himself on a waterslide? My answer is a strong no considering how important AJ MacGinty was for us in that run-in. Not to say Carty was a bad player but he just had too many hiccups in his back pocket to be a proper Test outhalf.

He could probably do everything Sexton could just not all the time! He great pace, physicality and hands in his prime. Reminds me a bit of Jack Crowley.

Lancaster is the man
Signing in for arguably one of the top 5 most important Connacht matches in our history. Pro12 Final win, Stormers semi-final, Toulon semi-final, Glasgow semi-final are the only ones I can think of with this much significance.
Glasgow helping us so far in the Protestant derby but a long 40 minutes of rubby ahead yet.
