a brilliant full back.
considering she more than likely spent her childhood marking conor in the back lawn its hardly suprising

she was in shock since he has been going in there for years and they hadn`t a clue who he was.
class act on and off the field
i wouldn`t swop him for any forward in the country at present[/QUOTE]
You reckon he should have been in the shop asking for discounts roaring ‘do you not know who I am!’
He’s top class, but I’d still have Canning.
Richie Hogan is the best forward in the Country.
Did the damage against Limerick and Tipp this year when it mattered that’s for sure.
I’d actually say his the best midfielder in the country and Richie Power is the best forward in the Country. Going by form in this year’s championship, Power although he played only a bit part role right up until the semi against us was one of the main reasons KK won the Liam McCarthy again this year.
what did callinan score for a finish? he played v lim, cork, Dub, kk x2
Callanan scored 9-50 this year, averaging over 10 points per game.
He scored 5-61 in the League.
Callanan had an excellent year, but Richie Hogan was faultlessly good all year. TJ Reid is getting no mention either which is mad in itself.
Richie Hogan, TJ Reid and R Power are all better hurlers than Callanan. He’d be around the same level as Colin Fennelly
Hogan played more midfield than anywhere.
Judging lads on club is ridiculous. A lot of Connolly’s plaudits are based on on club Performances.
As mentioned, Power is the present No. 1
Reid and Callanan are very similar players and are about the same level.

A fine hurler no doubt, best forward in the country? No.
You cannot judge it as it will always depend on the type of ball and support they get. This skews towards kilkenny as by and large they get the best ball and the best support.
I don’t think too many top class defenders would lose sleep over marking joe canning these days. He is not mobile enough. He has become more of a flat track bully. I really hope this changes as he has stardust.

Wait til Joe is moved to centre back, then you’ll see. Then you’ll all see.

Ah ffs :D:D:D
You mean to say at no stage over the last few years while he was in getting a pudding box he didn’t drop a ‘Do you know who I am’ ?
Surely he must have used his stardom at some stage to get an extra bit of bacon for ‘the’ breakfast roll.

Kilkenny forwards usually get shit high ball but they’re capable of winning it any which way.
