Very scrappy start. A horrible surface isn’t help much. Brazil are adopting a very ugly style of football by launching long balls up the pitch.
The commentator mentioned the huns were chasing one of the Paraguay players, did you catch who it was Rocko?
I don’t see Robinho on the pitch, Jadson seems to be playing in his place. I don’t know whether this is tactical or due to an injury.
Left winger: Estigarribia
Pato foiled by the keeper in a one on one situation. That’s twice he’s got in behind.
Paraguay are the huns of South American football. Defensive, hacking, high pressure merchants.
He’s started off well, I doubt they could afford him.
Bit worried by the pace of that potential hun.
I was just about to say that Jadson has been shit.
Correct. Lost the ball everytime he’s had it up until then.
Good strike though.
This is an awful game however.
Hopefully the huns will try and be a bit more progressive in their play now and the game will improve as a result.
Poor half. Improved very slightly after the game but it’s a dour encounter. Brazil are at least making some effort to play football but the opposition are very deep and the attacking players are finding it very hard to hold onto the ball.
Argentina made some changes to their line-up in training today:
Out: Banega, Cambiasso, Lavezzi & Tevez. In Gago, Di María, Higuain & Agüero
1-1.
Santa Cruz.
Was it the future hun who put the ball across for it Totti?
2-1 to Paraguay now!
Hun cunts.
Riveros to Santa Cruz to Valdez.
Or were you on about the first goal mate? I can’t remember who put the pass in for the first goal.
You lads watching on ESPN? Setanta coverage is lacking without Will Downing.
I meant the first one alright.
